You may have heard that Andy Howell Art has moved to a new location and we’re proud to announce that in honor of this special occasion, we’re going to be hosting our first group art show at the new location! Stop on by our artwork gallery in Houston, TX on January 17, 2015 to see some brand new works from local area Houston artists! We’re certain you’ll have a blast!
Never been to an art show before?
If you’ve never been to an artwork gallery in Houston, TX before or attended an art show in the past, now is the time to experience something brand new for yourself. We welcome people of all kinds at our shows and would love for you to experience the excitement and atmosphere that a local area art show has to offer.
You’ll see original artwork from local artists that you’ve never seen before, have a chance to meet and speak to some of these artists face to face and can even purchase art that strikes you to take home. It’s a wonderful experience to be able to understand the art and the artists in a way that’s personal, giving you insight into the wonderful creations that they’re responsible for.
Even if you don’t consider yourself a patron of the arts, we invite you to stop by simply for the experience. There’s just something about being surrounded by vivid imagery and imaginative people that can really create a memorable experience for anyone.
Meet the artists
This group art show is an important event not just for our artwork gallery in Houston, TX, but also for the artists who are participating. All of our artists are local area residents who are striving to get their name out into the art world and exhibitions like these are a great way for them to earn a bit of notoriety. If even one person leaves having met them or buys one of their artworks, the reputation of that artist expands even further, giving them a shot at breaking onto the local art scene!
Even for those artists who are just hobbyists, art shows are important because it gives them a chance to interface and network with community members who may be interested in their artistic works and style. For some, it means being contracted for work, for others it means making a connection within the community and for still more, it means making a friendly acquaintance!
